Design and Build
The 46mm variant of the Watch GT 5 measures 45.8 x 45.8 x 10.7 mm and weighs around 48 grams without the strap. It features a nano-film finished stainless steel body that is waterproof, scratch-resistant, and corrosion-resistant. The design incorporates angular bezels with geometric patterns for a modern look. It supports interchangeable straps including fluoroelastomer and woven nylon in multiple colors such as Brown, Blue, and Black. The watch fits wrist sizes from 140 to 210 mm.

Display
The watch sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a pixel density of 326 PPI. The display is bright and sharp, supporting Always-On Display mode and customizable watch faces. It is protected by regular protective glass.

Health and Fitness Features
Equipped with Huawei’s TruSense monitoring system, the Watch GT 5 tracks heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), sleep quality, body temperature, stress levels, and female health cycles. It supports over 100 workout modes and features advanced running analysis including ground contact time and injury prevention tips. The watch has dual-frequency GNSS for accurate GPS tracking and offers real-time cycling data connectivity. It lacks ECG and arterial stiffness measurements found in the Pro model but provides reliable health insights and sleep breathing awareness.

Smart Lifestyle Features
The Watch GT 5 supports Bluetooth calling, NFC payments, notifications for calls and messages, and music control. It includes a rotating crown and a programmable side button for easy navigation. The watch is compatible with Android 9+ and iOS 13+ devices. Additional features include weather updates, alarm, timer, stopwatch, and Find Phone functionality.

Battery and Charging
The 46mm model offers up to 14 days of battery life under typical use, 9 days with regular use, and about 5 days when Always-On Display is enabled. It charges fully in approximately one hour using Huawei’s proprietary charging dock. Heavy use with continuous heart rate monitoring and GPS reduces battery life to around a week.
